A man and woman robbed the Maui Nites Casino late Wednesday night at gunpoint, and both are still at large.

Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh said the robbery occurred at about 11 p.m.

"Two individuals entered the casino in the 3700 block of Brooks Street, a male and a female," Welsh said. "The male was armed with a handgun that he brandished as he approached the bar while the female stayed at the door. Both had the lower parts of their faces concealed with bandannas "

Welsh said the man with the gun demanded money.

"The male demanded money from an employee and then the two of them fled out the door apparently northbound on the railroad tracks behind the casino where they either split up or it's possible they got into a vehicle and left the area."

Welsh said no one was hurt in the incident. The investigation has been assisted by the video surveillance system at the casino. Photos of the suspects are included in the YouTube attached to this report.

Anyone with information about the two suspects is asked to contact the Missoula Police Department at 552-6300 or Missoula Crimestoppers at 721-44-44.
