Missoula Police Release Video and Photos of Knife-Wielding Robber
Missoula Police have released a series of photos of a suspect that is believed to have robbed a woman at knife point, before robbing a Missoula convenience store a little later on Saturday, February 27.
"We have just released some still photographs from the video surveillance from one of the locations, and although the photographs do not show a clear representation of the suspect's face, it does show, kind of, what the suspect looked like at the time, it shows the clothes we described and the red bandanna," said Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh.
Some of the new details provided in the photos include the suspects shoes, and a dark mark seen on the suspect's elbow.
“The suspect has been described as Native American or Hispanic, male, slender, apparently wearing a red jacket and a red bandanna, and was wearing jeans,” said Welsh. “He was 5’7” to 5’9” and 150 to 170 pounds. He had black hair that was described as big and curly. The weapon was described as a small folding knife.”
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call 911 or Crimestoppers at 721-4444.
The Missoula County Sheriff's Department has also provided this video of another robbery on Sunday Morning at Deano's Casino, thought to be by the same suspect:
***CAN YOU ID ME*** Take a look at this video from an attempted robbery over the weekend at Deano's Casino. The suspect pulled a knife on the store clerk and demanded money. Detectives believe this person is also responsible for two additional incidents inside Missoula City limits. The suspect is described as standing about 5'6"-5'8", with a slender build. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, and a black hat. If you can identify this individual or have any information please call Detective Brinka at 258-4938 or Crime Stoppers at 721-4444.
