Missoula Police Arrest Man for Strangulation and Assault
Just before 3:00 p.m. Thursday, Missoula police were called to the report of a disturbance in progress in the 100 block of East Bickford Street. Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh explains.
“The first officer to arrive met a male coming out of the residence, identified him, and determined he was one part of the disturbance at the residence,” Welsh said. “Another officer arrived and made contact with the female inside. They were able to determine that an argument had escalated into a physical confrontation. At the conclusion, 34-year-old Timothy Williams was placed under arrest.”
According to Welsh, Williams is currently being held for felony strangulation and misdemeanor partner or family member assault.
