A 44-year-old Corvallis man who drove under the influence of drugs twice in a three-week span has been sentenced to 33 days in jail.

The Ravalli Republic reports that Vernon Wayne Rusk received the sentence Thursday in Ravalli County District Court.

Judge James Haynes also sentenced Rusk to a three-year deferred sentence, meaning the time will be dismissed if Rusk abides by the judge's requirements.

Rusk was cited on July 23 and again on Aug. 7 after being pulled over by police.
