Just after 6:00 Wednesday night, officers were called to a sporting goods store in the 3000 block of Paxson Street. The complainant reported that a male was removing price tags from items and that he was concealing those items in his clothing. Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh explains.

“When the officers arrived, the made contact with 28-year-old Levi Bubash,” Welsh said. “Mr. Bubash accompanied the officers outside. Officers learned that he was on probation and that he had arrived in a vehicle. Officers contacted his probation officer who requested that they search Mr. Bubash and his vehicle. During the course of the search, the officers found evidence of drug use that included an amount of marijuana and a small amount of methamphetamine.”

Bubash was taken to the Missoula County Jail where he is currently being held for criminal possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, probation violation, and theft.
