The Adams Center saw both Montana teams win Friday night, as the Lady Griz defeated North Dakota 60-39. Montana thrived on great shooting, as they appear to have broken out of their season's first half offensive slump.

The Lady Griz were led on the court offensively by tournament MVP Katie Baker and Torry Hill, who also made th All-Tournament team. They both had 11 points. Defensively, they held tournament selection Mandi Buck scoreless and set the tone for the ballgame.

Montana will now open up their Big Sky Conference season Monday at Eastern Washington. Tip-off time is set for 8 p.m. Mountain Time. The pregame show will start at 7:30 on 107.5 Zoo FM.
