
Why There May Be Fewer Bathroom Options In Montana’s National Parks
Over the years, we have asked people in Montana what they should carry in their vehicles in case of an emergency.
One thing that gets mentioned a lot is having a roll of toilet paper in your vehicle.
Toilet paper can come in handy when you're traveling around Montana. I found that out a long time ago when camping and traveling for youth sports. You can't always count on there being some in the portable toilets or rest areas.

Montana's National Parks are opening up for the season, so it won't be long before we have an influx of tourists coming to visit.

If you are planning on visiting any of our National Parks this summer, not only will you have to navigate the crowds, you may have something else to worry about. Due to layoffs with the park service, there have been toilets that have been closed in some of the National Parks.
Will Montana's National Parks Have Fewer Bathrooms?
According to USA Today, there have been bathroom and visitor center closures in some of the parks as a result of some of these layoffs. Over the parks there have been reports of closed toilets in eight of the parks.
Since Glacier and Yellowstone are currently opening for the season, it remains to be seen if these closures will affect the bathrooms in Montana's parks, but you should be aware of the possibility.
