A growing wave of new food options stepping in, especially in the food truck scene. Mr. Gyros is getting ready to roll out, adding Greek flavors into the mix. Now, there is another new addition that is about to hit the streets.

Himalayan Rockies Indian Cuisine is officially making its move to Missoula, and they are bringing a menu full of Indian cuisine with them. The food truck has already been established in other locations, and now it is setting up shop locally with a focus on organic, made-from-scratch dishes using local ingredients.
Get Ready for Himalayan Rockies’ Grand Opening
Their grand opening is set for this Friday, running from noon to 8 p.m., and you will be able to find them parked at Red Lion Inn & Suites Missoula. It is a spot longtime locals might recognize, as it was once home to the old Triple Dragon restaurant.
It also raises an interesting question for Missoula’s future.
A Thought for the Future: Food Truck Courts
With the number of food trucks continuing to grow and more variety showing up every year, it might be time to start thinking bigger. A dedicated food truck court or gathering space could give these businesses a consistent home and give locals a one-stop destination for a wide range of food.
