The Montana Lady Griz are fresh off their most successful season since 2014. The Lady Griz scored 23 wins, the most since former Griz Hall of Famer Robin Selvig retired, reached their first postseason tournament since 2014-2015 and won a game at the Big Sky Conference Tournament since 2017-2018. Now, we're just a few short weeks away from another season of Lady Griz Basketball filled with entertaining matchups.

Under 4th year Head Coach Brian Holsinger, the Lady Griz will look to take the next step and win a Big Sky Championship. The Lady Griz will have a new look to them this year. One that appears to be a more physical brand of basketball compared to the record-setting 3-point shooting teams Coach Holsinger has had his last few years. This iteration features 3 transfers, 3 freshmen, 3 returning starters and 3 players back in the mix after missing time with injuries.

The returners include All-Big Sky Conference Defensive Team member and All-Big Sky Second Team player Dani Bartsch. Bartsch will return with the most minutes from last year's team and was a top-10 rebounder in the country. Plus, former Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year Mack Konig and gritty defender MJ Bruno.

Coaches will also look different this year. Lindsay Wooley, Emma List, and Kayla Anderson will join Brian Holsinger and Associate Head Coach Nate Harris, both in their 4th year at UM.
