4 Montana Grizzlies Named to 2027 Hall of Fame Class

Congratulations to the Montana Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2027 inductees, announced last week by the HoF committee.

Several Montana Grizzlies were recognized, so we had to make sure they got the love they deserve. Here is this year's class.

Jordan Tripp, Montana Grizzly

Tripp was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 2014, but never suited up for the team that drafted him. Instead, he wound up in Jacksonville, Seattle, Atlanta and my Green Bay Packers. He played in 34 NFL games.

Dylan McFarland, Montana Grizzly

McFarland was drafted in the 7th round of the 2004 draft by the Buffalo Bills. He played two seasons with the Bills and then played overseas in NFL Europe with the Hamburg Sea Devils.

Jim Kalafat Star, Montana State Bobcat

Kalafat was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 1984, but was released that same year. He played for the LA Rams in 1987 and in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts before a career-ending injury.

Mickey Sutton, Montana Grizzly

Sutton played with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the CFL, the Pittsburgh Maulers and the Birmingham Stallions of the USFL, and five seasons in the NFL with the LA Rams and Packers.

Mark Fellows, Montana State Bobcat

The San Diego Chargers selected Fellows in the 7th round of the 1985 NFL Draft. He played two seasons before suffering a career-ending injury.

Joe Cummings, Wyoming Cowboy

Cummings was born in Missoula, grew up in Stevensville, and played at the University of Wyoming. Cummings signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, got cut, and later played with the Chargers, Packers, and Bills. He also played with the Barcelona Dragons and Orlando Rage.

Levi Horn, Montana Grizzly

Horn played two seasons with the Chicago Bears, one with the Minnesota Vikings, one with the BC Lions, and in the Indoor Pro Football League with the Spokane Shock, New Mexico Stars, and Los Angeles Kiss.

Don Heater, Montana Tech Oredigger

Heater was taken in the 1972 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals, waived, picked up by the Packers, waived, and returned to St. Louis and appeared in 2 games.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be June 26 at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.
