
Another Former Griz Heads To Illinois
We'd been hearing rumblings of the all-time leading tackler at the University of Montana taking a job at Illinois, and now it's become a reality.
Robby Hauck to Illinois is a full go.
Robby had been the special teams coordinator and safeties coach at Portland State under Vikings head coach Bruce Barnum. Barnum was relieved of his duties after last season.
Hauck spent two seasons at PSU.

This will be the first time Robby and Bobby will coach on the same staff together. Bobby coached Robby from 2018 to 2022 at UM.
Hauck becomes the latest coach with Griz connections to follow Bobby Hauck to Champaign. Earlier today, former DL coach Mike Linehan was announced to Illinois.
Former co-defensive coordinator Roger Cooper was announced as the linebackers coach back on February 13, and former defensive coordinator Ronnie Bradford came before him.
Cooper will coach the linebackers, and Bradford will coach the secondary.

We might as well call them the Illinois Fighting Grizzlies at this point.
