Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On September 8, 2023, a Missoula Police Department Officer was dispatched to Walmart on Mullan Road for a female with a warrant. The officer noted it was a no-bond warrant for escaping the Butte Pre-Release Center. Dispatch provided the female's name, and she was identified as 39-year-old Christina Loneelk.

The officer spoke to the U.S. Marshalls who advised Loneelk may be near the Albertsons on North Reserve. The officer arrived on the scene and noticed a female who matched Loneelk’s previous booking photo. The female also had a tattoo on her left upper arm like what the officer observed on the Loneelk’s booking photo.

Loneelk stated her name was “Sabrina” but the officer recognized the female as Loneelk and informed her there was a warrant for her arrest. Loneelk was then arrested. A Probation and Parole officer arrived on the scene and performed a search of Loneelk’s bag.

While this took place, the officer noticed Loneelk reaching under her right armpit. According to court documents, the officer observed Loneelk pull out a small plastic bag and attempt to put it in her mouth. The officer was able to stop Loneelk from ingesting the bag and observed the bag contained a white powdery substance.

After transporting Loneelk to the Missoula County Detention Facility, the officer went to the police station. The officer conducted a TruNarc test on the white substance found on Loneelk, which tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine.

Loneelk is currently being charged with felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs and felony tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. On September 11, 2023, Loneelk made her initial appearance in Missoula Justice Court and her bond was set at $1,000.
