Helping Families With Affordable Housing

Habitat for Humanity of Ravalli County has recently received over  $7,000 in grants  from several local organizations. All of the money to build homes through the organization is raised locally. Northwestern Energy was one of the organizations that donated money in addition to $16,000 worth of solar panels. Habitat also received $5,000 from the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation. President of Habitat for Humanity of Ravalli county, Jessica Burson is grateful for the generous gifts.   

 The money will go to help finish up a home they started in January. Burson says they hope to have it finished by June 30^th.
