Looking forward to the big game tonight? The fifth-ranked Montana Grizzlies will play their Football Championship Subdivision semifinal against top-ranked Sam Houston State in Huntsville.

Pre-game starts at four o’clock and kickoff is at six o’clock. Listen to the game at 1290 KGVO. If you rather watch the game, ESPN will be televising it.

Montana has won three of its four meetings against SHSU, including a 34-13 win in the 2004 semifinals in Missoula. Earlier that season, Sam Houston beat the then top-ranked Grizzlies 41-29 in Huntsville.

It's the second time the Bearkats have met the Grizzlies in the FCS semifinals — the first time was in 2004, when they came to Missoula and lost 34-13 to the Grizzlies.

This will be just the fourth road semifinal game for the Griz, who lost at Georgia Southern (45-15) in 1989 and at Youngstown State (28-9) in 1994, but won at unbeaten James Madison 35-27 in 2008.

The winner of tonight’s game advances to the NCAA Division I Football Championship in January.
