Yellowstone National Park's draft environmental impact statement for a new winter-use plan, released earlier this month, is open for public review, and comment, through July 18th. The Draft EIS analyzes a variety of approaches to managing future use of snowmobiles and snow coaches in the park. Park Spokesman Al Nash.

 The agency had been looking into several options, ranging from 720 snowmobiles a day to an outright ban as it wrestles with the long-running disagreement between environmentalists and snowmobile enthusiasts.
