BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — A 21-year-old Forsyth man has pleaded guilty to charges he used counterfeit money at several Billings businesses last year.

The Billings Gazette reports Zachary Lee Seleg entered his plea to felony forgery Thursday in District Court in Billings.

The plea agreement calls for a three-year suspended sentence, restitution and requires him to participate in chemical dependency and criminal thinking errors programs.

District Judge Susan Watters scheduled formal sentencing for Aug. 28.

Seleg was arrested after officers identified his pickup truck in surveillance video taken at stores where the fake bills were passed.

Court records say he used a family computer to print the phony money.
