Five Inmates Suffer Superficial Injuries in Fight

DEER LODGE, Mont. (AP) — Montana State Prison officials are investigating a weekend fight in which five inmates suffered superficial injuries.

Prison spokeswoman Linda Moodry says about 20 inmates got into a fight at about 8 p.m. Saturday near the prison gym.

She says the fight lasted about four minutes.

She says the inmates cooperated with staff at the Deer Lodge prison and no staff members were injured.
