Entrepreneur Greg Gianforte Releases Fundraising Totals, Will Decide on Gubernatorial Race This Month

Entrepreneur Greg Gianforte released fundraising data today, January 5, for his gubernatorial exploratory campaign. Gianforte’s team reported raising over $315,225 in the final quarter of 2015 and more than half a million total.

"I continue to be humbled by the tremendous support and encouragement that we're receiving from across this great state," Gianforte said. "It is clear, with Montana being 49th in the nation in wages, that Montanans want someone from the private sector that can turn things around. I'll be making my final decision on running before the end of January."

The Gianforte team said it was filing it's fundraising paperwork with the Montana Commissioner of Political Practices Office, today as well. In press releases, Gianforte was eager to highlight that 83 percent of campaign donors were from Montana.
