In late March, fans and supporters of the University of Montana dug deep and set a record in one-day fundraising for the school.

With the cancellation of the fall football season, a huge hole opened in the University of Montana athletic department budget, and so department officials have begun a fundraising campaign to address the problem.

Since Missoula and the state of Montana have been locked down the Missoula County United Way has led the way in helping those who are most affected and the least fortunate in western Montana.
