Republican Derek Skees is challenging incumbent Monica Lindeen to be Montana's next State Auditor. On his website, Skees says "We can do better than Obamacare in Montana" and in a conversation with KGVO News Skees challenged Lindeen's ability to borrow 58 million dollars for the development of a medical insurance co-op called for in the Affordable Care Act. Skees says that "all bills of attainder all revenue generation has to begin, constitutionally, in the House of Representatives in Montana" and that the tax payer shouldn't be liable for repaying the 58 million dollar loan.
