Department Of Environmental Quality Review

The Montana Department of Environmental Quality has completed its initial review of Otter Creek Coal, llc's application for a prospecting permit. DEQ Public Affairs Coordinator, Lisa Peterson says they have determined that the application is administratively complete.

Arch Coal Company paid the state of Montana 80 million dollars to get to the permitting process.
