The Northern Rockies Regional Center has received approval as an employment based regional center through the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service. The center was founded by Arnie Sherman who is the Executive Director of the Montana World Trade Center. The designation means immigrant investment visas can be issued to allow people to live in the United States, for at least 2 years, in return for an investment of one million dollars.  The center will be based in Missoula. Sherman says he looks for a great deal of return in jobs for dollars spent.

Sherman says the center hopes to raise $66 million dollars over the next 3 years.
