A Montana woman who admitted pushing her husband to his death off a cliff eight days after their wedding has lost another legal appeal.

A three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has denied a petition to rehear an appeal by Jordan Graham, of Kalispell. Assistant U.S. Attorney Melissa Hornbein says Graham's only remaining option is an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Graham's attorney Michael Donahoe tells the Missoulian that they intend to pursue the Supreme Court appeal. Graham pleaded guilty to second-degree murder after authorities say she pushed Cody Johnson off a cliff in Glacier National Park on July 7, 2013.
