Montana Senator Max Baucus played a key role in moving forward with three trade pacts, once considered to be a key holdout. Baucus said he would support a free trade agreement, now that the White House is on board, as far as South Korea is concerned.

Bill Donald, president of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association and Melville, Montana rancher, said the white house really had to cave in to  Senator Baucus.

Once the news of Baucus' approval for the South Korea deal became known, reports started flooding in about Panama and Columbia as well. But, as it sits now, all three agreements are going to be looked at by congress, as a package deal. Donald calls this a good move, that will allow for the pacts to be passed more quickly.

President Obama has said that he wants the agreements to go forward, and will sign them.
