Blood Donations Are Down [AUDIO]
Traditionally Blood donations decrease in the summertime. This year has especially been unusual from the severe weather that has come at the end of the summer, which makes it harder for people to donate blood. Donor Recruitment representative for the American Red Cross Julie Brehm says there is a critical need for blood donations. This morning, Mayor John Engen was one of the first donors to give blood at the bloodmobile. Tomorrow, blood donations will be collected at St. Pat’s Hospital. You can also call 1-800-733-2767 to set up an appointment to donate.
