Bail Reduction Hearing

A bail reduction hearing for 25 year-old Kenneth David Cadieux was held on Thursday afternoon. Cadieux was charged with negligent homicide in the drug overdose death of 23 year-old Riley Boyer.

Deputy County Attorney Kirsten Pabst Lacroix says she recommended that Cadieux’s bail be reduced from $100,000 to $10,000. 

Lacroix says Boyer’s overdose death was an unnecessary tragedy, and hopes the reduced bail will help Cadieux receive the drug treatment he needs.
