KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) — State wildlife officials say a young grizzly bear caught grazing on lawns in a residential area near Ferndale has been released on the west side of Hungry Horse Reservoir.

Fish, Wildlife and Parks grizzly bear management specialist Tim Manley says the 2½-year-old bear was caught on Tuesday and released the same day.

The male grizzly weighed about 120 pounds.
