Woman Charged With Assaulting a Police Officer

30 year-old Katherine Mutrie of Missoula was arrested late last night by Missoula Police for assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. Missoula Police Detective Travis Welsh provides details of the incident in the attached interview..

Mutrie appeared before Judge John Odlin Friday afternoon and placed on $5000 bond. She was represented by a public defender, and since the charge was a felony, will make another appearance in May to enter a plea. The officer was not seriously injured in the incident.
