Wolf Hunts Planned for the Fall

With the official delisting of the gray wolf in the Northern Rockies, wolf hunts are being planned here in Montana, as well as Idaho. I spoke with Ron Aasheim with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks on Wednesday about the next steps in the wolf hunting process. That interview is attached.

With the legislation, legal challenges to wolf hunts are not allowed.

Aasheim says sport hunters will be able to purchase wolf tags as soon as the public comment periods are completed.
