Wind Event Causes West Riverside Fire To Expand {audio)

An unexpected wind event on Saturday caused the West Riverside Fire to jump it’s line to the north and spread to over 3000 acres. I spoke with Fire Information Officer Joan Dickerson early Sunday morning. That interview is attached.

The cost of fighting the fire is up over $1.5 million dollars, and the cause is still under investigation.
