Are you tired of throwing money away on rent every month? Would you like to be a home owner, but just can’t afford it? Well if you are a Montana resident, and you have $100, then you have a pretty good chance of winning a $300,000 custom built home right here in Missoula.

This house is student built by the Missoula Building Industry Association’s Building Futures Program, The University of Montana College of Technology and The Flagship Program. It features a spacious foyer, open concept with the living, dining and kitchen area, granite countertops in the kitchen, master bath has a soaking tub and a separate tiled shower, gas fireplace in the living room and many more amenities.

Your chances of winning this house are much greater than your chances of winning the lottery because only 4,000 tickets can be sold. You can tour this beautiful home and purchase a ticket this Sunday, July 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. But, don’t be discouraged if you can’t make the open house, there is a list of vendors on the website where you can purchase tickets too.

Proceeds from this raffle will go toward funding future projects and awarding scholarships to students who were involved in the project.

Joy Larson is a mother of four boys, graduate of The University of Montana, animal lover and writer.
