Montana Department of Transportation’s Tools for Road Conditions

For days like this, this map was really helpful. The Montana Department of Transportation has three different ways to get the reports for road conditions in your area.

They have a detailed written out description of the road reports. For example :

5 MILES WEST OF THE JCT WITH MT-141 TO LINCOLN
Snowing
Snow and Ice

Then they have a simple map that is pretty easy to read and updated every 10-20 minutes. Find the most up-to-date map here.

The enhanced one though is my favorite! It has snowplow cams, road webcams and so much more. You can also add layers or take away layers to make it less condensed.
