Police and fire officials responded to a single-engine airplane crash west of Butte Monday morning.

The plane crashed between Rocker and Ramsay, south of the Interstates 90 and 15 interchange.

The FFA confirms two men were on board the plane; an aviation student and the instructor.  No passengers were on board the Piper PA-38 Tomahawk. Both men are confirmed dead. There names have not yet been released.
