Jackie Fike, manager of the Turah Pines bar, settled up with authorities Wednesday afternoon in Missoula Justice Court over seven charges of allowing smoking inside her establishment. In February of 2010 Jackie and her husband Tom made headlines by defying the smoking ban in bars and casinos, because they claimed they were losing a large share of their customers. The Montana Clean Air Act, passed in 2005, was not applied to bars and casinos until October of 2009.
