Woman Causes Trouble at a Missoula Ranch, Flees From Deputies
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On February 26, 2025, a Missoula County Sheriff's Office Deputy was dispatched to a ranch in the 5000 block of Expedition Drive following a report of a disturbance. The 911 caller, Jane Doe, said a female claiming to be the daughter of President Trump would not leave the property.
Doe said the female tried to drive her black Tahoe into Doe, and that the female was preventing people from leaving the property. When the deputy arrived, he observed a group of people waving their arms and pointing at a black Tahoe. The driver’s side window of the Tahoe was rolled down, and the female driver, who was later identified as 53-year-old Kristi Lawson, was yelling and displaying her middle finger to the group.
The deputy parked his patrol vehicle behind the black Tahoe and yelled multiple times for Lawson to turn off her vehicle, but Lawson claimed she had “diplomatic immunity.” Then Lawson left the scene. The deputy immediately returned to his vehicle and began a pursuit.
During the pursuit, Lawson stopped multiple times but continued to ignore the patrol vehicles following her. As Lawson and the deputies following her all approached Hayes Creek Road, it was announced that stop sticks would be deployed. As Lawson approached the stop sticks, she turned her tires left in an attempt to drive around them.
According to court documents, the deputy made the decision to use his vehicle to push Lawson’s vehicle over the stop sticks as the pursuit was nearing the Missoula City limits. This resulted in both Lawson’s Tahoe and the deputy’s patrol vehicle making contact with the stop sticks.
After driving over the stop sticks, Lawson continued to drive down Highway 93 but her tires were slowly deflating. Lawson finally came to a complete stop near Blue Mountain Road and the pursuit ended.

A deputy exited his patrol vehicle and gave Lawson verbal commands to shut off the vehicle and show her hands. Lawson disregarded these commands for several minutes. Multiple law enforcement officers approached the vehicles door, opened it, and attempted to place Lawson under arrest.
As officers attempted to remove Lawson, she repeatedly tried to pull herself back into the Tahoe and pull her arms away from officers as they attempted to place her under arrest. Lawson was ultimately placed under arrest without further incident and transported to the Missoula County Detention Facility.
Lawson is currently being charged with felony assault with a weapon, fleeing from a peace officer, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
