Teen Drinking Party Busted in Frenchtown

Missoula County Sheriff’s Deputies raided a Frenchtown area home on Thursday and discovered a large number of teens drinking at the residence. As a result, the homeowner, Angela Marie Merritt, was charged with six counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to Deputy County attorney Kirsten Pabst Lacroix..

Lacroix says Merritt was heard to say

she wanted to give the teens a safe place to drink. Because the young people scattered when authorities arrived, Lacroix says it’s impossible to say how many attended the party. Merritt posted $3500 bond, and will make another court appearance at a later date.
