Tebow Q&A Raises $12,000 for Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Montana says it raised $12,000 from a fundraiser featuring Tim Tebow.
The Montana Standard reports about 2,500 people attended a 30-minute question-and-answer session in Butte last week with the Denver Broncos quarterback.
The $12,000 that was raised is all profit after ticket sales and sponsorships, minus Tebow's fee and other costs. Tebow's fee wasn't disclosed.
Michael Burks of Fuel Fitness and Nutrition, which booked the appearance to help Habitat for Humanity raise money to build a house in Butte, says the goal had been to raise $100,000.
Barbara Miller of Habitat for Humanity says she's grateful for the money that was raised.
