Filming for the fourth season of the wildly popular Yellowstone TV series has just wrapped up, and the numbers are in, not for viewership, but rather for the enormous effect the series has had on Montana’s economy.
It does make you wonder how different Montana was back when settlers first started arriving. It was an untamed chunk of wilderness, that soon filled with people looking to either strike it rich or plant their roots.
After former Missoula City Councilor Jesse Ramos shared his experience as an extra for the ‘Yellowstone’ television series, KGVO asked Missoula County about the money the production company paid to rent the county courthouse for the scenes filmed there
It was pretty funny. My wife and I were watching the show and I started yelling out- "that's Jesse Ramos from Missoula...that's Missoula City Councilman Jesse Ramos."
