MCPS has named two Missoula women to be the new principals at Franklin and Cold Springs elementary schools.

Missoula County Public schools has announced that the principal position for Big Sky High School will be filled by Natalie Jaeger, the current Co-headmaster of the Boston Green Academy in the Boston Public School District.

The Missoula County Public Schools Board of Trustees will be placing a general fund levy request of $181,000 on the May 6 ballot.

A tradition will continue on Tuesday for Missoula high school freshmen, as they gather in Washington-Grizzly Stadium for the annual Graduation Matters Missoula rally.

At the Tuesday, September 10 meeting of the Missoula District One School Board, members heard, and unanimously approved, recommendations made by three community-based safety committees.
