An early morning electrical fire at a modular home in Lolo sent crews from Missoula Rural and Missoula City fire departments to Lakeside Drive, where they found smoke coming from under the manufactured home.
Update 1 p.m. 9/17- Though the Miller Creek fire is still burning, wet weather and cold temperatures today have helped firefighters make quick work of the blaze.

The Mill Creek Fire is now at 700 acres in the area around Frenchtown, and fire crews are working to complete containment lines around the fire. Firefighters from local agencies and departments are working the fire today. The strategy is to keep the fire from growing.

Several agencies are battling a new fire reported this morning near the location of the 2011 West Riverside fire.
