Caras Park

Progress continues with the new surf wave in Missoula.  The wave will be much like Brennan's Wave, just downstream from Caras Park near Ogren-Allegiance Park. The Max wave will be created  in honor of  the Missoula kayaker, Max Lentz, who died in West Virginia during a 2007 kayaking accident...

The Missoula Downtown Association is hosting  a Winter Brewfest fundraiser for Caras Park in the historic Missoula Mercantile building this  Saturday. Executive director Linda McCarthy says they are trying to raise half a million dollars for park improvements and describes phase 1.
