Bummer! Stone Temple Pilots Drop Out of Missoula Show Due to COVID Exposure
Well, this is definitely a bummer for a lot of Missoula fans out there - but at least we got a few days advance warning on this one.
Stone Temple Pilots, who were originally scheduled to perform with Halestorm and Black Stone Cherry at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater on Monday, May 30th, have announced that they have had to drop out of their remaining dates on the tour.
The reason? Pretty much the same one that causes at least 90% of cancellations these days - a member of their touring party was exposed to COVID.
They made the announcement on their Instagram page last night.
So What Does This Mean For the Concert?
The good news is, the show will still go on. Logjam hasn't commented on the change on any of their social media channels, but Halestorm and Black Stone Cherry are still scheduled to take the stage at Kettlehouse on May 30th.
And like I said at the top, while it's a bummer that we won't get to see Stone Temple Pilots, at least we got some advance notice. I know a lot of fans were pretty upset last year, when Mammoth WVH (Wolfgang Van Halen's band) was supposed to open for Guns N' Roses at Washington-Grizzly Stadium - only to discover that the band had to cancel with just hours to go before the show started.
Tickets are still available to go see Halestorm and Black Stone Cherry over at Logjam's website. Hopefully, it won't be too long before Stone Temple Pilots make their way back to Missoula.
