STD Outbreak in Montana
When a sexually transmitted disease jumps by 306% infection rate there is something to worry about. Yellowstone County in Montana has an outbreak on their hands.
According to RiverStone Health "61 cases of Gonorrhea were reported through April 8, compared to 15 during the same time span in 2014". This is the second most common STD in Montana.
Yellowstone County officials work to curb the outbreak and treat those infected. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, say the treatment of gonorrhea has become more difficult over the years as it developed a resistance to every drug used to treat it, except for a single class of antibiotics.
