A breezy day at Washington Grizzly Stadium took a turn for the worst for one Silvertip Skydiver. The Silvertip Skydivers were making their drop into the stadium prior to the start of the Griz-Weber game when a cross wind caught one diver, Blaine Wright, off guard. Executive Vice President Jim Foley describes what happened as Wright tried to make his landing outside the stadium.

Foley says UM police and paramedics were on the scene immediately assessing the situation. UM Athletics Marketing Director Christie Anderson says Wright was transported to Seattle.

Meteorologist with The National Weather Service Bob Nester says wind gusts at 1:05 pm in Missoula were between 25-35 mph.
