Starting this week, MCPS will be serving a free lunch for any child 18 and under at five District One schools. The children do not have to be enrolled in school, and the lunches are served from 11 am till 1 pm every weekday.The schools are Franklin, Hawthorne, Lowell, C. M. Russell, and Chief Charlo.

In addition, free breakfast will be served at Hawthorne and Russell schools from 8:30 to 9:30 am.
