Rioting in London Over Benefit Cuts

Over 500,000 people demonstrated in London over the weekend against government austerity measures. Anarchist extremists took advantage of the demonstrations to light fires and damage storefronts by shattering windows, resulting in nearly 200 arrests. The Ritz Hotel was taken over for a while before police in riot gear could regain control. So far, 84 have been injured, including 31 police officers. Several hundred protesters rioted through the night in Trafalgar Square.
