Montana’s Congressman, Denny Rehberg, offered testimony in support of his legislation, the Montana Land Sovereignty Act,( H.R. 845. ) The legislation was the subject of a hearing held by the House Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands today. Rehberg says the act is about making sure the American public has a voice.

The hearing addressed a series of bills intended to protect Western States, including Montana, from unilateral designation of new National Monuments by the Obama Administration.
