Propane Truck Rollover Closes Eastside Highway

The Eastside Highway in Ravalli County was closed for several hours following a one vehicle rollover involving a propane truck.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Lath Keith said the call came in to 9-1-1 at about 2:15 p.m.

"There was a rollover crash involving a large commercial propane truck that overturned near the intersection of State Highway Secondary 203 and Goose Lane,' Trooper Keith said. "No materials were spilled from the propane trailer, and the tank was in good condition even though it was overturned. It sustained some scrapes and things like that. The driver was injured, but refused medical treatment at the scene."

Keith said the Eastside Highway was closed from the time of the accident and was still closed by 4:40 p.m. at the time of this interview.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol.
