Saturday, April 30th is Prescription Drug Take Back Day. The event is a way to curb the prescription drug abuse problem in Montana and in the United States. Prescription drugs are the number one abused narcotic in the nation. Take Back Day is an opportunity for you to dispose of unwanted and unused prescription drugs. Close to five thousand sites will be participating nationwide. The Drug Enforcement Administration's David Schiller says Montana lost three hundred people last year from the abuse of prescription drugs.

You can dispose of your pills from 10 am to 2 pm at Southgate Mall Clock Court or at The Missoula Senior Citizen's Center.  Log On to the DEA website to find a disposal site near you.
