Prescribed Burn Covers Valley With Smoke

A fire  in the Missoula area continues to fill the valley with smoke today. The Missoula Ranger District is conducting a prescribed burn in the Blue Mountain Recreation area about one-half mile west of the Motorcycle Trailhead off the main Blue Mountain Road.  Fire Rangers expect the burn to take several hours. Drivers should use caution on the main Blue Mountain Road during the fire operation.
